Purple Haze

My entire outfit is thrifted!
It is truly amazing what you can find when you are in the mood to dig at a thrift shop. As I have said before, my parents live in the desert. They have a particularly amazing thrift shop up there. I find the most amazing goodies, like these beautiful suede Escada loafers. I love the super bright purple and they are so comfy!

Summer Love

Blazer- Vintage; Shop Road To Nowhere
Skirt- Vintage; Shop Road To Nowhere
Crop Top- Vintage; Will be available for purchase on my shop in the next couple days
Shoes: Birkenstocks

I have been spending a couple days up at my parents house. They live in the desert and I think the beautiful summer sunsets are what inspired this colorful outfit of mine. I love to try crazy combinations of color and prints. I find the key to mixing prints is to pick one that is more bold, and one that is a little more subtle.

Fun Life

Top: Vintage 80s Swimsuit
Pants: BF Jeans reworked from Target
Shoes: Juju Babe Jellies; Dolls Kill
I love a good one piece swim suit but If I ever go back to Barcelona, I will not be wearing one to the beach again. I might as well have been fully clothed compared to everyone else! I picked up this awesome one pice at a vintage store call Retro City. It is a pretty cool store. If you are ever in Barcelona, I would check it out.

The Slip Dress

 Dress- Thrifted
Multi-Chain necklace- Thrifted
Shoes- Cheap Monday
Purse- Hologram Unicorn clutch, Dolls Kill
Watch- Pop Watch, Jewelmint
Leather Bracelet: Hermes

The slip dress is becoming quite the trend these days. I have to say that I was a little timid to wear this out, in fear that it would look like I was in my pjs. Once I styled it however, I fell in love with the slip dress trend! I paired it with my Cheap Monday sandals for a sporty chic look. And I always like to have a little touch of quirk, and my unicorn bag is the best for that. :)

I'm So Emojinal

Shirt- Custom Emoji Top, Shop Road to Nowhere
Skirt- Thnk You Mart Japan

Hello All!
This day I visited Figueres, which is where Salvador Dali grew up. I have to say it is an awesome day trip! The museum he designed was one of the coolest places I have ever been!! I highly suggest a trip there. I chose a comfy look since it was a two hour train ride and lots of walking. I love my Birkenstocks! They are comfy and so chic. And since Salvador Dali was a bit of a jokester I wanted to wear my crying emoji crop top. These are available to order on my Etsy :)

Hanae Mori

Dress: Vintage 70s Hanae Mori
Clutch: Thrifted

This dress is definitely the best thrift store find I have ever made!! I got it for only $3.00 because the store thought it was a night gown. I love Hanae Mori. Her designs are so unique and always have great prints. I wore this to dinner at the Mandarin Oriental in Barcelona. That hotel is beautiful. We did the tasting menu at Moments. At the end of our dinner we found out we were stranded due to a taxi cab strike (we had taken the subway there, and at this time it was closed.) But since that place is so awesome the manager took us home himself!!

Style Boards

I can't believe I have never thought to do these before! I decided to start doing them for pieces on my shop so that people can see how they could look styled. Also it is a lot of fun to put together an outfit with things that I can't afford to have. (like those beautiful Chanel creepers!) The pieces on my shop are the Mexican blanket sweater, the chartreuse dress, The pastel yellow dress, and the awesome la bamba shorts.
Check out my shop for the available pieces!

Lady Pants

Sunglasses- Forever21
Shirt- Forever21
Pants- Vintage, Vintage Kilo
Shoes- Urban Outfitters

I am in love with these pants!! I picked these up in Barcelona at a shop called Vintage Kilo. They have an awesome print of a woman's silhouette, and I love the pop of orange color-blocking at the bottom. This was a bit of a lazy day. We just walked around a park by our apartment. And a cute little old pug photo bombed me :)

It's All Coming Up Roses

Dress: Vintage, available on my Etsy
T-Shrt- Forever21
Shoes- Jellies, Get them here

I am loving the white T shirt under a spaghetti strap dress these days. Its an easy was to spruce up an outfit. I am also obsessed with these jellies. They are so comfy and fun! I originally planned to wear this outfit to the Salvador Dali Museum. I thought the trippy rose print was very fitting. However, we woke up too late and ended up at the MACBA. I was not impressed with that museum as far as art goes. But it was a great place for outfit photos!

Night Out

Happy Fourth Of July Eve!
Still recapping my trip to Barcelona. I read in NY Times magazine about a restaurant called Baracca on the beach, so I made us a reservation there. I decide I would break in my new Nastygal Shoe Cult heels, as the place wasnt far and we were taking a cab. Leave it to Murphy's law to make sure I really broke them in!! Turns out there is another place with the same name but on the other side of town! Our cab driver took us there, and we had to walk a mile to find another cab! Then we get close to the restaurant and the street is closed, so I was in for another 10 min walk. I ended up with blisters but now the shoes are very comfy :)

My Outfit: Dress- Shakuhachi (one of my fav labels!), Shoes- Nastygal Shoe Cult Highway Pump,
and my beautiful Holographi Unicorn Purse, which you can get here
